Hey, I'm JayB_
founder. builder. shipping until one sticks.

Ex-crypto founder. Built, scaled, then shut it down.
Back to zero. Now building in public, sharing what actually works, and what doesn't.

01about

Builder. Engineer-turned-founder.

I started programming, fascinated by how ideas could be turned into digital products and how those products could scale to millions of people with almost no friction. It felt like magic. That quickly pulled me in. I didn't just want to write code. I wanted to build things that solve problems people could actually use.

I found crypto in 2017 and quickly went deep. It felt like a new way to build systems—more open, more transparent, and less dependent on intermediaries, with the potential to remove friction at a fundamental level.

I worked as a blockchain engineer and security auditor, and later founded MilkyWay, the first liquid staking protocol in the Celestia ecosystem. We spent years building and took it from zero to scale with backing from leading investors, but it didn't survive the cycle.

That experience stripped things down to first principles. It forced me to get clear on why I build, and what actually matters. I'm drawn to building systems that give people real control, systems that are verifiable, open, and owned by users. Ultimately, I build things that create real value—things people actually need and use.

$Now I'm back to zero—working solo, moving fast with AI, and building from first principles. Shipping until something sticks.
